Tribunals are state based governing bodies that decides a range of civil and administrative cases for the community.

An Administrator makes financial decisions on behalf of another individual. Other terms for the role can be “Trustee”, “Guardian”, “Guardianship” or “Manager” depending on the state and the circumstances of the appointment.

When an individual is appointed by the Tribunal to manage the financial affairs of another person, they have reporting requirements that must be met each year or as directed by the Tribunal. This is to ensure that the finances and needs of the individual are being taken care of in a fit and proper manner and that it meets the financial management plan.
